Working with local Kazakh entities for the processing of Kazakh crude oil in Pavlodar, Shymkent & Atryrau refineries.

Working with local Kazakh entities off-taking of gasoline, naphtha, jet, gasoil, vacuum gasoil, fuel oil, bitumen and petrochemicals.

Working with local Kazakh entities for supply & distribution of petroleum products to Kazakh and neighbouring Central Asian markets.

Exporting monthly flows of HSFO, LSFO & VGO to European markets.

Working with local Kazakh entities for long-term lease of RTC fleet within Central Asia to support physical logistics.

Strategic working relations with 1st class international Oil Majors operating inside Kazakhstan.

In 2019 Elson launched a light crude oil quality preservation and optimisation initiative as both a co-founder and co-investor with local Kazakh entity “Kom Munai”, a fully owned subsidiary of OMV. The project involved the construction of a new pipeline from the producing field in order to segregate the light API gravity 52° material from being blended with the heavier crude inside the KazTransOil pipeline. Elson acted as the exclusive off-taking partner for the light crude oil which overwhelmingly increased the commercial economics and resulted in a full ROI within a matter of months.

In 2022 Elson created a new petrochemicals department within the group.

In 2022 Elson began exporting Aframax size cargoes of Kazakh Export Blend Crude Oil (KEBCO) ex Ust-Luga for seaborne delivery to China.
